TFW™ Multipurpose Thread Sealant w/ PTFE
DESCRIPTION
A nonhardening soft set, nontoxic thread sealant for sealing and protecting NPT pipe fittings. TFW is specially formulated to seal piping used for pressurized air, natural gas, water, and fire sprinkler systems. TFW works as well in other fluid and air applications.
TFW provides sealing performance upon application and is specifically formulated to seal threaded connections against leakage due to internal pressure. TFW contains no lead or harmful metals and is safe for use on potable water lines. TFW is listed under the Uniform Plumbing Code (IAPMO), File Number 1282. TFW conforms to Federal Specification TT-S-1732 and the requirements of British Standard 6920: Parts 1 and 2.
